ls1 driveshaft
hey guys i just picked up an ls1 aluminum driveshaft today, cause i have a vibeshaft that tries to shake the car apart at speeds upwards of 90, does anyone have tips for instalation?

Yup just goes right in. There is just 4 bolts that hold the rear u joint to the rearend yoke, take those off then slide the driveshaft out. You might as well put some new ujoints on.

What are some good alternatives to the LS1 driveshaft for around the same price? I know Lingenfelter makes one, and I guess Denny's may also be a good option. A new LS1 driveshaft seems to be just over 300 bucks. I would like to replace mine because my car used to vibrate like a **** at higher speeds. If I'm going to pay 300 bucks, I might as well try to get the best shaft for the money.

if your going to buy an ls1 driveshaft, search the for sale section here. theres usually a couple on there for $100. DO NOT PAY $300 FOR AN LS1 DRIVESHAFT!!!! if you are going to spend that kind of money go here www.carolinadriveline.com, they built me a nasty 3" chromoly steel driveshaft with some nasty looking u-joints for like $225 and it will never break.
