yep mustangs are always fun to pick on. i raced a 98 GT it sounded like an exhaust only car but after i passed him i heard a whine and when i stopped and talked to him he said it had a S/C with 7psi but. he still didn't believe me when i told him all i had was a CAI.

After going to the link provided in one of the above posts ( http://www.fastcoolcars.com/z28_vs_gt.htm ) I found this..
1994 Chevrolet Camaro : 0-100 = 16.8 sec - so if the car runs the 1/4 in 14.1 seconds at 101mph why is it listed that it takes 16.8 seconds to get to 100mph?
..................................0-130= 26.6 sec
1994 Ford Mustang GT : 0-100 = 17.6 sec
..................................0-130 = 44.7 sec
Anyways, to my point..
LOL...it takes a 94 Mustang GT over 27 seconds to get from 100-130mph
while it only takes a 94 Z28 less than 10 seconds!

The other day, I was going back to work from my lunch and I see a 07/08 GT500 Mustang coming out of the parking lot. He sees me and gives it some gas and tries to do a burnout ... of course he couldn't control it, can any mustang drivers drive? geez! He loses control in a matter of seconds and ends up front fender into the gutter ! LOL! He quickly backs up and tries to get out of there before anyone sees. I was laughing my *** of and the guy behind him an alero was pointing to his head and looking at me, LOL.

Looked like a new mustang too, was all shiny! He sees me, and all I hear is BWAAAA *SCREEEEEEEEEEEEECH* *SMASH*. HAHAHAHAH I looked over and all I saw was a silver/white blur smash into the curb. His face was PRICELESS too! Obviously his first RWD. He looked around quickly, put it in reverse, and FLOORED IT. He was gone, hahaha. I think he might of cracked something, sounded that hard of a hit. oh and to top it off, the road was completely dry not salty or wet, hahaha.

i ran into a guy yesterday that works at t mobile, drives an 03? mach 1, says all hes got is an intake, headers and a magnaflow exhaust, no cats. swears hes puttin down 380 at the wheels and is runnin 12's, he wants to race my trans am. any chance in hell ill beat him?

a 95 gt is nothing like the 99-04 gts, 05+ gts. its comparing a pushrod motor to a newer 4.6. i admit the 97-98 gt's are slow because they dont have the pi heads or cams that ford put in, in the newe models. but you cant make a judgment from just driving one old mustang. i know for a fact a bolt on 99-04 with gears, it will be a good race for a bolt on lt1. so what is the argument here?

i guy at work has a 04 gt with 3.73s he was beside me after work and gunned it i let him get ahead of me then pulled up beside him threw it in neutral revved up then let him see what the taillights look like. a 5.0 owner at the park wanted to race so i was like "come look at this" walking to the front of my car. he was like "what?" then i said "oh i just thought i'd give you one last chance to see the front of my car." i stripped his ***. i saw him driving around town in a formula the other day i guess he got tired of losing.
WTF - Slicks and nitrous are cheating? He just doesn't want to lose again to another F-car!
