I do have respect for a couple of mustangs...my friends boss has an 88 1/2 gt that runs 8.02 in the quarter mile, that is with a small block 348 and alot of nitrous. But, I do love smoking them in my 93, and in later years with some money I will only smoke them harder..lol..

dude ul beat that mach 1 he is 100% full of **** if he says 380 at the wheels I no a guy with a procharged 03 mach 1 and i blow his doors off every time he dosnt even waste his time anymore if he sees me hunting him down he turns now and acts like he dosnt see me dont even worry catch him on the street 1 day and show him whats up

Positive man. May have beaten the driver, all I know I pulled him, ever so slightly but I came out on top. Mechanical problems...lol.

I agree, somepeople, I repeat SOME, in this thread need an education. Just because this is the LT1 section of GM board does not excuse stupidity and ignorance. Camaros are FAR from untouchable by Mustangs. Get over it.

ok i know a lot of LT1/LS1 guys have faster cars than i do, but this post is complete bs.....and to everyone here who thinks they are so much better than people who drive stangs, get a ******* clue....there are plenty of stangs that would walk your LT1's and LS1's... ide have no problem with an exhaust/cai LT1... its pathetic how much everyone in this thread looks down on everybody else for not driving an ugly *** camaro....if i wanted to buy an LT1 instead of my 4.6 i could have, easily.

I am a horrible driver, but if you notice the trap speed it is capable of going 12s easily with a better driver. Also there are bolt on 2vs that have been running in the 12.7 to 12.8 range.
