i actually signed up here because i had a question about my dads 350TPI iroc, i only logged in to post in this thread because i read 3 pages of stuff that was mostly incorrect and felt the urge to speak up

factory mustangs suck *****. underpowered,no traction, the worst brakes ive ever personally experienced. nobody said a mustang couldnt be modified to take an fbody. take your crying somewhere else,this isnt fordboy group therapy

Yeah, Mustang owners are such douches. The other night I was on the highway and some dude in an '03 started flying up my ***. I decided I would play his little game and was laughing as I left his stupid granada-chassis car way back in the distance all the way up to 130

ok time to add my 2 cents....
ok so my sister was telling me that her friends sister was talking about how she'd whoop up on my car. So I got a chance to meet this chick asked her what she has.... She claims to have like a 5.0 stang w/ shorty headers, flowmaster exhaust, and CAI. Then she proceeds to tell me that that she runs so fast at the local 1320 that she got kicked out of the track for not having a cage. I have yet to see a stang w/ intake and exhaust run 10s. Then I asked her if she had any power adder....turbo, supercharger, nitrous.. and she says no none and I hate nitrous cuz it's bad for my car. So either she has something huge up her sleeve or something huge up her ***

a 95 gt is nothing like the 99-04 gts, 05+ gts. its comparing a pushrod motor to a newer 4.6. i admit the 97-98 gt's are slow because they dont have the pi heads or cams that ford put in, in the newe models. but you cant make a judgment from just driving one old mustang. i know for a fact a bolt on 99-04 with gears, it will be a good race for a bolt on lt1. so what is the argument here?
Before I did my headers and catback I also beat a CA edition 05 GTS or whatever.
I do like the 94-2004 body styles. But none of the GT's got a really good tranny/engine combo in my opinion. But opinions are like ********...everyone has one.

I must say I have respect for them, although the one that beat me, I think he lied about his mods. He said he was intake/exhaust, but the one race he won, it seemed like he either had a little shot he used or I just fucked up my shift. They were damn close races either way though. Never more than a car length for either who won. Clean looking car too. It was a 98 cobra.

LOL, at the brakes comment. No Fbody owner has the right to bitch about another cars breaks. I have an LS1 car and my brakes are absolutely terrible. I know LT1's are worse. Go drive a Cobra/Mach 1 or a GT with the 13in. upgrade. The breaks are waaaaay better. I dont think there was too much crying going on, but come on man, some of these posters are obviously way off base. Some of the comments I read just made me shake my head in shame at fellow GM drivers saying that ****.
