Man everyone is tense. I was just looking for a reaction for all you name callers....my every day car is 98 5sp stang. Damn you guys need to lighten up. My lt1 is faster.....but my mustang sounds better.

Well everyone is going to be a little biased. But hey at least we're arguing about American Muscle here and not some Ricer Junk. The Camaro Mustang battle will go on for eternity.

True it is something that will never end. I like argueing with mustang guys, because there is no end. My 98 is a nice ride but all it has is a catback. Camaro guys I think are diffrent kind of person. You talk **** to a camaro owner and they just kind of laugh. Talk **** to a hard core mustang owner and they get offended. wonder why?

I dont get offended, I just laugh at the ignorance of the person making fun of my car/mustangs.

you have no need to, pi gts tend to run the same times as lt1 cars do stock for stock. boltons the lt1 cars tend to get a slight nudge but its nothing major, 2vs take boost better anyway...

Dude I figured out why stang guys get mad, just look at 03mustgt's signature... all that and 100 shot of nitrous and he can't clear mid 13's? 03mustGt you said you were an awful driver, i understand that, but you should be able (with those mods at least)Accidently get in the low low 13's... whats wrong with your car

i have yet to race a stang since i got my LT1, all my buddies back homes have stangs and trash my car everyday. one guy at work has a 99'GT A4 with k&n cai, and some kind of exhaust maybe h-pipe, and he says its tuned, says he has 300-310 rwhp, with my mods in sig i don't have 300rwhp could i take him?

60' - 2.142
1/8 - 8.806
MPH - 82.84
1/4 - 14.479
MPH - 105.69

I was pretty happy for it being the first time!

If you had any knowledge about drag racing then you would know that a 2.4 60' time is absolutely horrible, also you would know that if the car traps 110mph then it is capable of a lot more than a 13.5. As a matter of fact there are several 2vs that are running high 11s with suspension work, bolt ons, and a 100 shot. Dont blame the car for what a driver does. Congrats your 5.7L is running slower than an NA 4v 4.6L. The 2v gt is capable of high 13s but it would take a miraculous driver and perfect conditions. I myself did not see better than a 14.5 stock. What does it matter what I paid for my car, do you think your car was priced so much cheaper when it was new? I am probably one the worst drivers, which is compounded by having street tires and almost zero track experience. I really dont see why you are trying to argue with me, I am just simply stating that you need to get your facts straight.

Stock I trapped around 98 or 99mph. Bolt ons should trap between 103-106 just depending on the tune, car is an auto etc. I have yet to go to the track with my 4.10s which are one of the best mods for a 2V. You have to remember too that I had horrible traction because of my lack of driving skills.

A bolt-on PI 2v will never see 300rwhp. An N/A 99-04 GT needs different heads and cams to achieve the 300rwhp mark. And even then, it's not going to be much over. That's why everyone goes with boost. The 2v's are incapable of making good N/A power.
