Cabin Fever
Living in the midwest is pretty depressing this winter. My car has had to sit for a few months now due to snow and ice. I'm sure theres a few others on the board who are in the same boat

I feel for you, I still drive my car when it rains here, but I can't really drive the thing, so the next sunny, dry day, I go nuts and drive like I just bought it. I can't imagine having to wait as long as you guys.

My Z is currently in a machine shop getting the mods from my signature . So I guess its not like I can really drive it anyway... Needless to say the snow still chaps my ***. It should feel like a whole different car going from stock to not so stock.

ya im in the same boat here in MI its driving me nuts, i had a v6 for a few years then just bought the Z 1 month before winter and only got maybe 500 miles on it MAX before having to park it. it sucks, but now im just looking forward to the new cam/cai/td/lt/sts/tune that are going into it currently.
can't wait to see what it feels like in the spring especially after driving a 240k+ f 150 I-6 all winter that has never seen more than 2500 rpm lol.. POS its going to be like stepping into a funny car lol.
but anyway.. ya midwest winter sucks .

I'm getting sick of winter too. My car has been in storage since October
I just want to go pick it up from where I'm storing it and bring it home.. so I can at least SEE it!
One more month..then hopefully she will be out again.

I'm sick of winter. Plus, the Z28 is my DD, so I have to drive it in the snow and ice. Nice day today though. Topped out at 43*. I gave the car the bath it's been begging for, for the past couple of weeks.

I'm ready to see spring myself. I hate the in between stages when it's warm during the day then cold as hell at night. I want it all, warm all day, all night, clear skys. ugh

Being from Chicago originally, I feel your pain. I am so glad my car is in SoCal right now. I just get rained on constantly lately though. Crap.

I'm thinking, heated garage for next year, so I can go out there and at least work on it once in while. Maybe even fire it up now and then, to stick the whole house up with fumes. LOL

Yeah this winter has sucked, my car even had to sit behind the shop most of the winter so I could help my dad work on his toys. But saterday i got to pull it out of the backyard and pull her into the shop.
Its on the hoist now getting ready to put some heads on it. So its not all the depressing NOW since its in the nice warm shop.
But still makes me get the itch when i fire it up. I hope im not the only one that when ya hear that exhaust just makes you get this big ole smile on your face lol.

Mines sitting with a new rear end in it but still needs the brakes and sway bar bolted up. I can't wait for the snow to GTFO of here! I have 3.42s in the new rear and new rims with some DRs I want to play with ^_^ Haven't done anything due to the winter, no point.
