I am looking to buy my next mod this weekend. i need a lillte more power to beat my friends boosted v6 stang. I'm looking at going with headers and ory or buying a nirtous kit. looking for some oppinions on what i should do first, and also what header/nitrous kit to go with, either way i will buy both of them soon. thanks for your help!

I would personally do headers before N2O. The engine needs to breathe better. Plus it will make the N2O feel a lot better than if u had stock manifolds

The Pacesetters are good bang for the buck. Everyone will tell you to get Kooks or some other pricey ones but not everyone can spend 900 on headers.

its a turbonetics t3/t4 on about 14 psi. not tuned too well right now, still moves for a v6, but i figure if i can get some more low end i can get him easy. especially because im in colorado at 5280 ft turbo lag is very noticable.

Nitrous is going to get you down the track quicker then headers. A 100 shot compared to maybe 10 or 15 horse from the headers on a stock motor. I know where my money went!

I'd get full bolt-ons before thinking about N2O. Go with some Pacesetter LT's and ORY. Or maybe go with the Pacesetter LT's and get a true duals setup with a universal x-pipe kit.

I agree 100% that nitrous will put out power more efficiently w/ basic supporting mods, such as free flowing exhaust(headers, catback),cold air intake, ignition, and fuel management(fuel injectors, fuelpump) are up to the task.Hope this help.

Everyone knows headers will get you less HP than shot.

But you need better breathing beforehand.

I actually got 21 RWHP and 24 RWTQ on my headers, just saying. I personally would get Pacesetter headers- 375, y-pipe-125, SS bandclamps- 30, O2 sensor extensions-48.

I sure hope you got coated ones for $375. Cause you can get them for $280 uncoated on WS6Store. I've heard that the Pacesetter coating isn't that great, though.
