i think i have a problem with fuel pressure
well ever since i bought my car it always had trouble starting the first try (unless i turn the key a couple of times to pump fuel in there) so i did a tune up and change plugs, wires, filter, coil and other stuff still my car has a problem starting. today i checked the fuel pressure and when i turn the key its at 41 for a couple a seconds then i drops back down to 0. is it suppose to do that? i though it was suppose to stay at 41 and when i start it it idles at 34, and i drove with it on its like at 38. so just wondering if anything is wrong with my car

Your fuel pump line that is in the tank has a pin size hole in it, that is why it is not keeping pressure. So, you are going to have to drop the tank or cut a axcess point on top of the tank to get to it either way, if you are going to do this might aswell go with a performance pump 255.

I have the same issue with my 94. I asked around and my buddy told me that when i turn the accessory on it starts the pump and it needs a few seconds to build pressure. When you turn your key on without turning the car over you should hear it buzz then stop. When it stops you should be able to fire it right up

While the "pin size hole" theory is nice and all, I doubt it. Usually that is the cause of a faulty FPR, or dying injectors that get stuck open. It's called leak-down. The pump primps the system, and then the injectors leak and drop the pressure down to 0. How fast it's happening makes me want to think that if it is a hole, it's more than just a pin *****, but a huge gaping void where rubber hose should've been I don't know if you have the tools to do this, but you could unhook your fuel lines, and pressure test the rail, injectors, and FPR, and vice versa with the pump. I know my buddy has all that crap but he has a shitload of tools.

+1 for above, sounds like fpr to me! if your injectors are leaking then your engine is getting doused in fuel every time you key the car on and you would smell gas big time. If this is not the case and you dont smell gas, then I say it's the fpr bleeding pressure back into the return.
