F@#$ Gas Prices.

Alternative fuel is the way to go, but everyone who makes progress gets whacked. Some how getting whacked does not sound like the kind of reward one works hard to get. Take this guy for example, he got wacked just after he figured out how to make a kit for cars to run on JUST WATER!

Keep in mind the guy in that video is dead.

When you click on the link the best video is off to the right. The first one just shows the news report of the car, but the second one shows how it all works.

whats crazy is diesel prices!!! thats NUCKIN FUTS!!! $4.07 9 for diesel
its just absolutely crazy and a rip off!not too long ago diesel was sooo much cheaper then gas then everybody n their mom decided to start driving big trucks (full size and super dutys) my parents drive a freightliner
they are constantly telling me how much fuel is places...Idaho is the biggest rip off on fuel because we have a HUGE pipeline here and its still higher here than it is most of the other places...not to mention also that the 2 gas stations in town are owned by the same guy, so no competition...and in the winter you have to use additives to it because the ****ing ***** waters it down...so many people here break down in the winter because of this crooks fuel...also he used to be flat *** broke....took a loan n built the gas stations...now hes loaded! small towns + gas = EVERYBODY in town looking for lube! we dont even have a damn grocery store anymore! so theres none of that either. and speed density has probably been through here and can vouch that this is a small rip off pos town! please do us a favor and stop commenting on this thread.. ugh

"takes away the mileage that would be put on the Camaro". I rotate my cars/bike.
Another reason might be that some folks drive quite a ways to the office and back.
Personally, I put on 60 miles round trip. Other might drive more, many less. If you
think 60 miles round trip every day, 5 days a week doesnt add up at the pumps,
then you might want to re-think your math.
And another reason would be breakage or work. If the Camaro breaks down or
we want to do some mods, those that have another vehicle have nothing to sweat
about to get to the office and back.
Insurance and repair costs are significantly different between a four-door
economy car and a 2-door sports car.
But I understand your point - why purchase a second car for economy when you
may be spending more in "hidden costs". For me, it is partly economy, partly
about rotating vehicles to reduce mileage among them, and also to have something
else to use when one of them breaks.
