nice short block! opinions on this short block on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LT1-S...spagenameZWD1V i have thought about contacting them since they are in my neck of the woods and i need my block rebuilt anyway. i probably will do a 355 instead of a 383. i have talked to victory racing engines and those fellas are very nice and very informative. the only issue is that they are not local and if i run into any problems it might be a hassle to get the situation resolved. i might go with the ebay listing since they are local. opinions welcome. i hope it is okay to post this.

if i had the time, equipment, and the facility i would definitely do it. but, i am not in the situation to do so right now. actually, the guy quoted me $3000 for a 355 with similar internals which is right on point with the price of engine builders such as vre or golen and they are local.
