I'll stick with not even close:

I would like to go, but...

A. My car will never be done in time
B. The only class I'd fit into would be extreme street with a ton of work to make it legal.
C. The main problem being without a few hundred pounds in ballasts I'd never make that weight. Now, if you had a tin can, stock engine, trans, suspension, single power adder class I'd be all over it.

Good luck to everyone who's doing the last minute scramble to get done!

I'm getting a lot closer, it runs/drives, and has been beat on, but it is still down A LOT of power that I am trying to find. It's down about 150rwhp from where it should be, I'm hoping it's ignition related, will be doing more testing today. Then I have to finish up the interior, clean the engine bay and finish up the little stuff inside the engine bay, polish the wheels, and a bunch of other LITTLE things.

We'll see if a little ole stock pcm single turbo daily driver on some 17's run some decent times.

I'll be there if everything goes good with the rearend install. But won't be racing. Might make a few passes on Friday night for Test and Tune but other than that I'll be spectating.

I'm almost ready. Just have a few little things to wrap up. I may even get to make a test pass or two beforehand.

I am not even close, and had to back out of the event because the car looks like this and I have no time to work on it...

I was ready and had a little misshap on the dyno. I had to redo my ignition setup and check to make sure motor wasn't hurt. Hopefully be cranking this evening.

If all goes well then I have to figure out how to add 200 freaking lbs of ballast in a way it won't become a missle an take my head off if I hit something. Still have to tune in and test new suspension..and of course still have to get back on the dyno and tune this thing. How time flys..I thought I would have been ready way in advance.

Mine was all back together... then I decided to upgrade all the brake lines to Earl's and install an SJM ABS delete kit. Almost done.

Trying to get it back together tomorrow night and then hit the track Wednesday night if the weather cooperates.

Everything is ready except for the fact that the car decided to start actin up 2 weeks before the shootout So now I've been frantically troubleshooting a sparatic powerloss problem, but the good news is I think I've narrowed it down and should have it fixed by this weekend. my list of stuff to do is:
1) figure out and fix powerloss problem
2) change valve stems so I can be NHRA compliant
3) change oil

I'm signed-up for the shoot-out, the car is ready (it has already been down the track many times this year) and I'm really looking forward to heading to KC in two weeks!
