Default Gauges

I am looking into buying a few gauges for my 93 LT1. I want a mounting pod for the A pillar that holds 3 gauges, but I cannot find one for a 93. Will an A pillar pod from a 98 or newer camaro work? Also, does anyone have some input on Stewart Warner gauges?

i have also wondered if anyone has every modified a 97+ gauge pillar and tried to get it to work with ours.

I tried to modify a whole pillar triple gauge assembly from a 97+ to fit in our cars and the lowest pod hits the left side vent. I removed part of the back of the lowest pod in order to make it physically fit, but once a gauge in in place the back if it hit the vent as well.

All in all I was unsuccessful at making it work.

From my understanding between your post, and my knowledge, is it's the dash that is different, not the A Pillar. Thus, the A Pillar from 93-02 would be the same.

I wonder if anyone before those pillar holders came out had used mounting cups on the pillar.
