Default What should my oil temp and tranny temp be???

I just installed and oil temp and trans temp gauge on my car, i have a trans cooler on there, was wondering what it should be at for both temps????? any help would be great

say about 160-200 on the tranny and 200-230 for the oil. Both can survive above that coler and the tranny can slip some and the engine oil wont vaporize fuel and water contamination.

my trans temp is between 150-165 and oil is between 150-180,

yea mine is right about 150 -175 i also have mine in the pressure port ...i heard some say it runs a little hotter their overall iam happy with it tho

yeah i have mine in the pressure port as well, very easy and quickly to do

my oil temp runs a little hotter then the coolant. if my coolants around 180 my oil will be around 200ish. my transmission on a 60* day will be around 140-150*(thats with a transmission cooler). on a cold day it will barely break 100*

see my water temp barley breaks 150 if that, its cause of the tune for me i guess

well when it gets real hot from having air in the system it gets to 220-240, but i let air now and it runs cool, always have since i got my tune

I read things through the pcm, with a 160 stat a car in perfect working order runs over 170 degrees.
