The dude w/ the SC'd impala changed out an opti at the track and made a few runs, I don't know what their problems were after that, but they were loaded up and gone I think before it was all over. I heard them mentioning tire pressure issues and how it was walking all over the track. Had some huge *** M&H drag radials in the back (390 wide).

thanks guys, ya i missed 4th gear all weekend long. i was traping 122 -123mph , when i really missed 4th it was running 118-119, any way, in the finials i knew i had to hit 4th to beat the other guy ( Engineer), so i grany shifted the slowest i have have shifted while racing and it went in first try. All motor is all i had this weekend, didn't have time to wire up the kit. It was for the best, it was runnin 11.3 all motor, with crappy 60ft times, best 1.76, and posi and trany issues.
Looking forward to see how it runs when you get the driveline gremlins under control. That T4P/BRE stuff seemd to work fairly well for you this weekend. Without all your hard work this wouldn't have happened. Congrats!
BTW, could the driveline problems be the result of all that power?

"the engineer" took runner up in N/A
Ellis, you already home? must be nice, lol. thanks for the props on the car. hope to see yours there next year.
I would like to thank Tony,Taner, Brian, Scott, Robert, Skizzy, Dave, all the N2O Dave crew, all my new friends for helping me out this weekend dialing in the car. It was a huge jump from the 300hp bolt on days to now, pushing 500hp and knocking 10's doors.
Also I would like to thank Bret Bauer at BRE, Without you guys at BRE the car would not run the way it does, thanks.

The tune is real rich, 11.1 A/F at WOT, and by slow shifting 4th isn't helping anything. I went from 122 mph in the morning at -800 DA (missing 4th), to 118-119mph in 2500 DA (really missing 4th, trany was getting worse). The last two passes of the day I grany shifted 4th it went in fist try but no where close to a timely fassion race shift and the car went 126mph back to back within 2 minutes of my last run in the N/A finals.
So i'm hoping to knock the 60ft down in the 1.4 range with somemore work to the car and swap out the tire for some et streets, tune o the motor and rebuild 4th gear, I would really like to see what its capable of. Only time will tell , just need more seat time.

While I ended-up 2nd in N/A in the finals, I qualified #1 and had the "low ET" of the class (11.18). And, I made it down the track evey round with very consistent runs. I'll be back next year and run in N/A again.
