Speed you are 100% correct, there isnt a whole lot going on under his hood. Its as true of an LT1 as you can get, Even has factory cast LT1 heads, and Factory intake.

I have no more to say to you, I think from what I have read in previous posts your feelings are already hurt enough. You do have a very nice car, too bad I cant say that about the owner.

LOL this is some funny ****...well i just want to thank the guys who put this race together and i hope it grows... & the KCIR track crew for a hooking **** track prep...great job....i want to say this was not an easy task for me...i hurt my motor last year with a lifter coming apart...was not going to make it to the race but said **** it at the last minute...p/u the crank at the machine shop on thursday afternoon...& then went to work....with no sleep & 2 earthquakes later (btw is no fun under a car with jackstands)... and saturday morning at 12:30 am was firing it up until a starter nose broke in half.....wtf......so pulled a starter off another one of my cars and fired her up for 15 min. ... & then loaded it up in the trailer...took a shower and then headed out...arrived in kansas at 8:30 am...btw still with no sleep... went to car wash, washed it and drove it to the track and then raced... NOW TANER TANER TANER..... i don't know who u r but i know what u r that is a BIG CRY BABY!
now i can tell u this i did not double bulb u on purpose...last that i looked i had lit the first bulb and then looked at my gauges & then looked up and the second bulb was lit...so say what u want but it wouldn't of mattered anyway u would of still lost...but i look at it this way u deliberatly doubled bulbed me the second race.. & i can care 2 ***** about that....thats racing... u don't see me crying..but i look at it that we are even...but since that little stunt that u pulled on the return road....btw i thought was funnier than hell...& wish i had a camera in the car to take a pic. that would of been priceless...i'm glad it did happen...& i do not apologize...& btw i did not see u qualify and asked the guy(who i thought was a track off.) and did not get pissed...just asked a question...in fact i was glad i was racing u so i could hand u ur *** with a 383 stock headed, stock intake, stock block w/a 200 shot street car....so i can't help it u did not bring enough thats ur fault...so GET OVER IT...but at the end it was all worth it...so if u had a problem u should of come over to me and we could of settled it face to face...thats what i got to say about it...i'm no keyboard commando i'd rather settle it face to face..............................all in all had a great time

now DAVE DAVE DAVE....

well i didn't double bulb you on the outlaw finals, now you are just flat out f'n lying! please tell me someone got it on video, because if ya think i am lying the video certainly won't! well you didn't bother answering any of my simple questions, so that puts ur side of the story in perspective.

and hey jackass, i am NOT PISSED THAT I LOST, ur car ran quicker than mine did all day, it is the fact that you lit both bulbs almost instantly, and it is obvious you could care less about courtesy staging.

you have your favorable twist on everything. both my passes i missed gear changes, new pistol grip shifter, and regardless my best for the day of 9.6x doesn't beat a 9.4x, does it? especially with a less than average reaction time. so as far as losing, well it is what it is, and there was really nothing to get over from that standpoint.

just pathetic that you double bulbed, didn't back out, and honestly that is what got me fired up. not losing, that has happened many times and will happen many more times at the track. funny how it came up in the driver's meeting, and then sure enuff i get bit by it.

i pulled up one lane over from you in the staging area, and well you had no interest in speaking at the time did you? i know for a fact i got your attention, or just tell everyone that i didn't. well go ahead and enlighten me on why that was the case?

you failed to answer my questions from earlier, which i thought were reasonable. but hey that's racing right?

yeah you sure handed me my a$$ i am so , i am going to go and cry in a corner because i couldn't beat your stock this and that, what ever..... well i have gone 40 on the stock intake and block as well, with stock pcm, who cares! so nah nah nah nah. grow up.

well i can see how Bryan wearing a lukovich racing engines t shirt would be a track official. lol! please ham it up some more. anytime you wanna run for some money, and if you happen to be at milan dragway let me know (since i hear you are a street racer)! i would love to accomodate you, you bring your junk, and i'll bring my junk. then i'll run my stock block to your stock block, whatever..... then we'll see how 2 street cars run at the track, at least i can say i still have the original transmission in my car, beefed up with oem internals. since you are crying that game. and unless you have gone quicker than 9.08, i can respect you otherwise **** off. as well in that case i will stop being a cry baby if you decide to grow up.

so if you really want to talk, then feel free to pm me a number i can reach you at and take this off line.

i actually like Dave's chicklet idea (more like racer's justice i guess), but alas I have a TN work Visa and work in the U.S. and i thoroughly enjoy it! I certainly wouldn't risk that for his actions, and honestly unless it is absolutely required I won't go that route, i will leave that type of activity where it belongs....in the past.

ytry,

yeah i am a real flippin a-hole, i take great pride in that! and my feelings well i tossed those out the window on the way home from Kansas.
thanks for the compliment on the car, it is definitely some work. afterall for me this **** is about the car and friends, not so much about the owner. hell without the help of friends, i know my **** wouldn't get done in time. there just aren't enuff hours in a day.

Tony,
sorry I brought this up, and i much like dave will tell things from my side of things. and now he is basically calling me a liar, as i didn't lite both bulbs on him in the outlaw finals, i really hope someone has that on video! maybe i am not a cry baby but rather a drama

well sounds like I missed a good time. The damn car wouldn't cooperate..lol. I would have missed the Tanner grudge race friday anyway since it got rained out and it sounds like you guys drank all my beer. Anyway, Hopefully there will be another one next year so I will try and leave the car alone(once it cranks) so I will have a running car for this thing..lol. Congrats to the winners but the Heads up NA guys better be ready to step it up next year..

Tanner..you didn't like the pistol grip? I will be trying mine out here shortly. Sounds like you made some new friends...damn Canadians..

It's been mentioned already in this thread that there is no time-out when one car fully stages and the other car does not light the pre-stage bulb. There is no hurry.
Relax. Take advantage of the situation now that your opponenet made the mistake to fully stage.

I've run a few heads-up events over the years and a few bracket racing point series and if someone gets all fired up and flustered at the tree expecting someone to do one thing and they did not, and then ranted about it publicly and flipped-off the winner, I'd be tempted to take away all their points or at least publicly let them know that it is not good sportsmanship.

This does not seem to be the popular opinion right now but look back at it and consider what would be more sportsman-like.

Very well put Karl.

If they don't do it soon, I shut mine off until they do. Auto start does not start until the 2nd pre stage light comes on. People can't screw with you unless you let them.
This was even talked about in the drivers meeting by the track official. He said if they double bulb you, just wait and the starter will motion them back out.

Sucks it happened, but it could have been an honest mistake that now caused more drama than was ever needed. It EASILY could've been taken care of right when it happened by Taner not pulling up and letting the starter pull him back out of the lights. I would NOT back up out of the 2nd bulb if the other guy is creeping forward, that can majorly screw you over.

When someone posts up the complete race results, I'll edit the first post in the thread with them.

TwoFast4LUV or anyone else, I want to know what kit with bracket and size of procharger is on the LT1 in the photobucket link on page 5 ? I believe the photobucket pic is on page 2 in the first and second row.

I really wanted to make the LTx shootout, but I guess it will be next year. Sounds like it was a great turn-out for the first year. I can't wait until next year, hopefully event can be doubled ! Great job representing to everybody for all the LTx stuff.

That is a custom cog bracket made by the House of Boost. The blower is an F1A, but up to an F1R will fit. I have that same setup on my car with the F1A.

Yeah, the cap hit the hood the first time I closed it. Needless to say it doesn't anymore. Luckily I still have the stock steel hood so it just dented the bracing on the underside.
