thats a nice stall, a set of 3.73's would probably do you good..dynos are for tuning anyways, its at the track that matters. i bet you'd run some good solid times with that stall and a gear..sticky tire of course. maybe a little spray?

I think you'll be able to hit a 13 second pass with 320-330rwhp even at that altitude with the auto. The hotcam isn't the be all end all for cam LT1's by any means, but it drives awesome, and gives decent power for what it is. Also, it should work well with nitrous or a blower too.

Default LT4 Hot Cam

This question has been discussed many times, some say its crap others say its a good setup, My opinion, for the price of the entire kit it is a decent budget package, Way back when I started upgrades, with the HTkit and exhaust my car ran 12.6's all day long and this was with a very soft 60' time. 95Z, 342's A-4...

I would love to run 12.6's here I think that would be in the 14's to high 13's here depending on my sixty foot time... What power numbers did you put done with what supporting mods?

I had the hot cam kit in my 97 formula 6spd with all the bolt ons and ed wright tuning car turned 12.40 at 111 on motor and 11.2 @120+ on spray stock clutch and drag radials leaving at 2200 rpms shifting at 6100. Youll just need to get used to givin her alittle more gas in the low end, otherwise good street kit.

so someone would really see that large of gains on an lt1 with the lt4 hot cam? everyone talks **** about this cam yet people are getting 70rwhp gains...?

sorry to steal your thread but what would be the gains on a cc503 for example over an lt4 hotcam?

If you are just talking about a cam only, then of course there are other cams that would perform better, but the topic here was for the Hot Cam KIT, This is the 1.6 RR (which are Crane by the way), springs, Cam, Locks ect..
