Something doesn’t add up. You claim to run 12.52 with this setup: at 3600#

In his sig it states:
”LEVEL-2 4L60E with 2500 stall slp loudmouth 1 cold air intak and lower control arms and lt1dave tunning”

Looks to me like the only difference is 500 rpms on the converter, and he has “lower control arms” plus he has you beat weight wise by 425#, So if it’s so easy why is he still over a second slower?

Check out this thread,
https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-modifications/922328-why-so-slow.html

Here's what I have, Why am I slow?

I have a 95 Z28 with 60K on it. It is an A4 with a 3200 Vigilante converter. I have removed the AIR, EGR, ABS, ASR, and added 4.10's, a UMI torque arm, double adjustable LCA's Hal QA1 shocks on the back. All I did to the motor is put on Pacesetter LT's, a Moroso CAI, and remove the knock retard from the PCM and lean out the AFR at WOT from 4500-5800. The best I can muster is a piddly 13.12 at 101 in the quarter. It runs consistant 1.75-1.8 60' times with MT ET STREETS plus a Mallory 685 box and 3644#. How come I can only muster a 13.12? It's not in the tuning either, I actually picked up a few tenths with tuning.

Winner! There's a ton of other things to consider like track prep, weather, DA, elevation.

1.75-1.8
60' times should tell you the track prep was good, the elevation at my track is 850', weather was mid 70's rather dry that time of year. Don't know the DA.
