I didnt get to far into it as this was my first engine build and I sold it to buy my transam before I finished it.I had picked the setup off of one of the guys in my club locally Though I do have some pics of it

if that gives you a better idea of the clearance

Brett had a Delteq setup on that when he drove it around. Why not just run an opti for now untill you can go singleplane and the dizzy?

Because Mike Put Some Lil Cover Over The Cam...i Could Remove It But Idk.. Also If I Run Opti I Need To Go And Change It Back To The Lt1 Timing Chain Its Got Another One On There Now. When It Was Just Freshened Up It Was Set Up Like That...thats Tha Way Its Makin Tha 698 Right Now. So I Was Just Kinda Gonna Go Like That Im Still Not Sure.

Ive Been Lookin For A Cheap Manifold So I Can Atleast Run Single Plane Carbeurated

I Can Use Any Sbc Manifold Right....they Just Have To Re-machine The Holes???

Thanks, Zach

The 91-3 b-bodies were TBI, they used an intake with an oversized distributor hole to clear the cowl. Point being, even on a b-body you are going to have clearance issues.

i have no idea, but thats what he said when we were talking about it when i picked it up.
i got tha opti, gear, and chain. i could swap it out, and its sounding more and more tempting to do. but i think that motor will be limited by tha computer even after tuning. maybe not idk more input is always welcome how high can a stock computer (tuned) rev?? does the opti itsself have a limit??

thanks again yall

Damn, that distributor in that pic is huge.
I'll try to get the model number off mine. The cap is way smaller. I have a crank trigger and running a FAST computer.

good luck
