True Duals WTF!!!
I just got some true duals on my bird and it feels so slow now. Feels like it has no torque or power. I had magnaflow on it before i just got the duals. I have a x-pipe into borla XR1's then dumped straight down before the axle. Can someone tell me this is what to expect with duals or do i have something wrong? The exhaust is 3 inch
Thanks Calvin

What I think is the car is breathing better and has more power than before it's just you make your peak torque at a higher RPM now. That is just my guess. Does it seem to pull harder up top?

wait, you live in augusta? sweet, i live down the road from you. i live in eldorado, and need to go back to the track too. let me know when you go and i will go with you.
to your question, maybe you need an LT4 Knock module?, but that wouldn't make any sense if you think its faster up top.

Lt's are like that with true duals, when i put in my exhaust i lost the torque that would kinda throw me back in my seat from a stop,so now i cant really chirp my wheels like i could with the stock exhaust, but power seems to be higher at midpoint.

There's no way that you lost power or torque, what you feeling is that it has shifhted to higher rpm than before thus feeling slower in the lower rpm range.
I say put a decent tq convertor (like a 3600ish yank or precision) to take advantage of the new rpm range and don't look back.
On a side note, did you take any pics of your duals? I'd like to see them if you did...
btw, I'm from wichita, and I was at the LTxshootout too

It feels like you lost power cause you did,at the rpm you are used to feeling low end TQ,that level has moved up a bit.The loss you feel is worth the gain up top
You definately need to go to the track! If you did lose power you may have a miss caused by burned wires, been there done that..

Then get an LS1 and put some gears and an M6 in that bitch! LoL I'm just kidding man. They overall will help the car breathe with LT's and as others have said the powerband has changed on the car and you aren't used to it yet. I would suggest a stall and that should solve 99% of it right there.
