NE1 know where to get stock throttle cable for 97 LT1???

A friend of mine needs one and says the dealer told him they don't make them anymore...

Anybody got any info on one????? Or where to buy one????

I just checked at work and he's right on GM not offering it anymore. Best off getting one off a part-out or a salvage yard. Someone is bound to have one.

does his 97 have traction control? if it does then the '93 cable wont work unless he deletes the traction control

I got a used one in great shape from a '97 around here somewhere. If I find it I'll let you know, tell him to check out ebay I've seen them on there.

not sure on the traction control... i'll have to check with him today about it....
