When you bypassed the CAGS did it kick any codes by not having the signal to the PCM? As I understand it you did not include any of the wiring in the harness so when to PCM was tuned for m6 there was an open pin on the PCM where the skip shift would have been. How did you alleviate any problems that this may have caused and is there any reason why you couldn't have just left the solenoid in place but not have it hooked up? Thanks

The PCM Connectors come apart..carefully take the colored plastic piece off and you can see the white Tabs that hold the Pins in. I popped up the Tabs and pulled the Pin out.
I don't know if the Switches are the same part number..I just moved the Cruise one over from the Brake to the Clutch and wired the TCC portion of the Brake Switch into it in Series circuit.
Since the TCC Function was no longer needed it was an extra switch..no sense of not using it.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
I added a diagram to my first page..

hey about the cruise control I have a 2000 trans am and this pic is how my wires are for the brakes and cruise switch on the auto side.
What do I do for this wiring?
or do I just take switch 25 and place it in the clutch spot and call it a day???? are any changes needed on the pcm wires for this to work? I know I saw it somewhere before but I can not find it now.

Hah glad to see this thread alive again
I did this a few years back with the help of soome coaching by Merv. The only problem I ran into is that now my cruise control doesn't work. I have no idea how the swap changed that.
