Default finally going to do headers, which gaskets?

i know alot of people reuse their stock gaskets with luck. but if i already have everything off im going to put on a fresh gasket. should i pick up another set of gm gaskets or what other brand do you guys recommend? i dont want to have to **** around with leaks. i dont have the time, money or patience and need it done right the first time. thanks!

What headers did you get? They typically come with gaskets.

I used FelPro gaskets. But I've got some Pacesetter gaskets that came with my headers if somehow you need new gaskets.

So far I have no leaks, my friend used the Pacesetter gaskets and has had to tighten the bolts a couple more times than me.

I ended up using the P.S gaskets to make smaller gaskets for my egr piping

I went with the felpro gaskets. No leaks and i havent had to retighten the header bolts since i put them on.

Fel Pro or stockers, always... (not reused of course, do you really want to take that risk?)

i had copper gaskets and they leaked pretty bad on multiple ports. i tend to steer clear of copper gaskets unless i'm putting them on a purely dragstrip-car. so, i was lazy and went with the supplied P.S. gaskets and i've had no problems after 2 years. they are typical asbestos gaskets which always prove worthy. remember, gaskets only work if you keep your bolts tight...
