The rules are being revised right now. The weights will be lowered some.

The 2009 LTX Shootout date is May 30th.

I would definately like to see what you took out. granted i am carring an extra 50 Lbs or so but even at that 100% NHRA legal gets me at 3,450.


I imagine if I started cutting the frame rails and stuff out of the car it could get lighter...

I took the car apart completely then reassembled it without all the extra stuff, you'll be shocked at what you can get rid of and still look nice.

damn from wat ive read if i meet my goal then i hav an ok chance in the 6 speed class as well as heads up power adder class. goal on my build is mid to high 10s and the winner in both classes last year were high 10s i no itll be quicker this year but i hav a shot i think maybe ill make a trip.

cool i might be able to do this hav my dad come trailer it down wit me and then run the heads up power adder class and heads up 6 speed class let him race one class and me the other

How about allowing a 30" tire and dropping the "current tag" part of the N/A rules?
