Waiting for Outlaws 14 second post
probably just rumors but i heard some guy from cali was up at sears point testing and ran a 9.79..... also laid the bumper into the ground on a previous pass..... 1.40 60' on the back tires..... all this however might be just rumors....


I'll see if I can get some video of this top secret test n tune session....

hehehehehe..... yeah I think the 9.50 pass was the one I was on had I not shifted into third by accident.....

It went 1.47 on the 9.79 pass....

It went 1.40 on the back tires on the pass where i shifted to 3rd.....

I think on a perfect pass on the 150 shot it'll go 9.5x..... now the balancing act is between alot of initial timing pulled to avoid wheelstanding and getting the ET.... we'll creep up on it....

Ray did you really run 9.44??? that's flying. i'll get there hopefully soon..... I didn't see any posts by you saying that you ran 9.44..... is it on youtube????

I'm planning on running some 9.90s tomorrow to get my NHRA Super-Gas (S/G, 9.99 to 7.50) license! The only problem, I won't be in an LTX car doing it.

This is my new ride for the remainder of the summer and 2008 season for real!

friggin sweet.... I know my car has more in it..... low 9's is kinda where I expect to be on a 200 shot..... The 9.79 we ran last night was a VERY soft tune to keep the car from wheelstanding.....

and we were at 900psi instead of the 1000psi we were at when it stood on the bumper....

But you are flying considering hyd roller and a stock PCM.... currrrazy fast... I need a bigger fuel pump before I start stepping up to the 250-300 shot.....

now, now....you can quit making excuses as to why your big $$$ car is slower than a home built, used part, HR, opti using turd of a LT1.....I plan on stepping up to 300 on the first stage and have a second stage that can add another 250HP worth if I need it.

heheheeheheheh...... man you guys are a tough crowd.... I've only made ONE nitrous passes that were successful...... Alot of tire smoke and a bumper drag for the others.....

But I'm thinking we're definitely getting closer to the suspension setup that we need.... That big $$$$ LT1 is going to show the $$$$ when i'm running a 200 and another 200 on top of that...
