Default What mufflers to go with.

Gentlemen,
I am looking for a little imput on what is going to be the best muffler for my setup. Let me tell you first what I am dealing with and what I am looking for.
95 Z28 M6. Dual Cold Air intake. Have already decided on the Pacesetter Long tubes, I am ordering them with in the week. I am going for a true dual set up with an X pipe, no cats, and two mufflers. I do not need the CATs because in IL, 95s and prior are not required to have them, so I am not gonna. Might need a little more back pressure, so I was thinking a little more restrictive muffler, what do you think. I am eventually looking at doing a big cam and a ported throttle body, and those will be in the near future. Any other engine mods will be a while. What are you all finding gives you that deep, throaty roar? I really like that deep deep V8 tone of the LT1, and want to really showcase it. I really don't care how loud the car is, but I am thinking not too rediculous, because she is still a daily driver. A little imput would be appriciated gents.

well theres lots. Be more specific on what your looking for. Borla XR-1's are great but there 165 a piece. Sound great, flow great, small size, but big cost. You need to do some research.

Look into 4x9 magaflows.

I have done some research, listened to some sound clips... The problem is that there are not many sound clips of LT1s, and if there are, they are just cat back systems. I am looking for a deep, throaty sound, and about $100 or less per muffler. I am trying to be careful because I only want to have to do this once, and exhaust is the first step before I move on to other mods.

Get some of the Flowmaster knock-off single chambers from eBay. I have them on my x-pipe and I love the sound. For the pair, they were $60 shipped to my door. I was a little skeptical at first, but am very happy now that I've heard them. I'll be getting some sound clips up tomorrow hopefully. I have one that I'm putting up later, but it's on my phone, and it takes crappy vids and sound.

i'll let you know what the bullets sound like in a few weeks if you haven't made a decision yet. i have the paceshitters like you and am changing to a 3" x and two dynomax bullets with two turn downs just before the axle.

I like my 1 chamber flows. But they were 70 bucks a pop. I dont like spiral flows, they are to big and sound like a dump truck.
