Either Madz28.com or Pcm4less.com for mail order tunes... Cant go wrong with either.
I think there is a way you can arrange to have almost no down time, but dont quote me on that. And if your going with a setup like that, I would highly reccomend a dyno toon in the near future to get things spot on.

Bryan at pcmforless is very good and always there to talk if you need advice. Also, if you pay the upfront fee (I think $250) they will make any future changes for $50. Also, when I fried my pcm changing the alternator Bryan got a new one with MY tune on it, to my door, for $125.00. However, as you already know, a mail order tune should only be considered a band-aid if you have any serious modifications done to your car.

Maybe not so much Brian Hearter @ Pcmforless but definatley Alvin. He is terrible at tuning and has to have some of the worst customer service in the business.
His tunes arent custom one off, they are small variations of the same tune that John Doe paid for.
With all the options for tuners there is no reason to deal with a junk company when you can get a great product elsewhere.
Tony.

Strongly recommend you look into datalogging so you know what's happening with your tunes. It might also give you the ability to do your tunes by email and avoid ANY down time (I think I know that this is available for OBD I setups, but I'm not sure about OBD II)

Ed Wright has always done an awesome job for me. And I've thrown some pretty odd stuff at him over the years LOL
Ion did a great job on my bolt-on tune. No idea how he does with custom stuff.
I was not at all impressed with the PCMForless H/C tune or customer service.
