Emissions Help!
Ok I got my Camaro running today and I went to the MVD to go renew my tags and they said in order for them to update them I need to pass emissions.
So my question is what do you sugest I need to pass?
My setup is PaceSetter LT's, Summit Universal H-pipe.. !AIR and EGR tuned out.. No codes are being thrown and everything is good as new.
I have two cats to use I was going to install one on eahc side of the H pipe and do a turn down after that.. Any help is appreicated
Thanks in advance

if you have obd2 just put your cats on for the visual and take it to get scanned. should pass as long as your readiness codes are complete. if obd1 you will have to go the route of the sniffer. only reason to put egr back on is if you live in cali. just dont get it real hot before you do the sniffer and nox wont even be a factor. last two tests i took passed easy without egr

what state are you from? what year car? if you are 1996+ most emissions places only plug into the computer to check the "ready" codes. if they are "complete" then you will pass. i think most states allow 2 incomplete "ready" codes.
now if they do the visual and the sniffer you wont pass unless you have cats in the stock location. try paying off the emission guy if your 95 and lower. it also depends what state you live in

I pulled everything off and retourqed the intake and none were loose.
When I pulled the TB off it smelled terribly off gas. So obviously im dumping fuel somewhere... but how???
Like I said I did extend my own 02's from the PCM side. Also upon start it smells bad bad of gas? Loose spark plug?
Another thing. I was going to go back to using the Opti but broke the rotor. So i put the Opti back together without it. using CA glue where the rotor holes were to keep the Degree wheel on.
Also when the guy at the emission place is driving it and when he brings it up to about 2500 suddenly the ABS light comes on
I realllly need help!!!!!!!!

You should be able to get it scanned anywhere... All you need is the OBD1 scanner with the OBDII connector. A friend of mine even had the basic Snap - On scanner and it worked with no problems on my Hawk and had the cords. (although he has since replaced to the full 5k setup for EVERYTHING, comes in REAL handy ).
