just got back from the 1/8 mile..this is my best pass

mph 77.07

not bad times.. but i figured with that stall and dr's you would of been a little lower

Dang what were you runnin like a real low 7..ive been looking at the 190cc AI pkg but i might have to wait another year before i can afford it..So the DA is the elevation, is 2100 good or bad sorry im not much of a drag strip guy this was my first time at one

i was hoping for alittle better time than that though...well today i drove to the store and when i came back to start it up it started for a sec than shut right off its doing the same thing that happened a month ago when my opti went out..im going to p'd off if its that again

Solid run for the DA. Some better weather and you'll hit 80 mph and sub 8.5's I think.

Yeah I was running low 7's....The AI setup is very nice and puts down the #'s...

The track elevation is around 680' but with the weather conditions it was like we were racing at 2100'....which is not really good if your going for personal bests.

That seems really slow to me. I would hope my car can beat that and I have the same mods.

The DA wouldn't change it too much either. Is that on street tires?

everyone i was with thought it was an alright time..im sure i could do alittle better if i practice launching but this was my first time at the track and i was really sure where to launch it at so i just held it around 1300 to 1400 rpms than nailed it

They are good times for the mods you have...Hell some people with more mods than you can't break out of the 9's.

The times are decent for the mods, but with a DA of 2100ft., thats decent air, i would think you should be alittle quicker with those 1.8 60fts., but by looking at the MPH of 77, IMO it should be better also for the mods you have, don't get me wrong, i'm not knocking your times "AT ALL", but you did mention it was having a problem stalling, tells me theres a problem & would explain why it didn't run faster, DA plays a HUGE roll in ETs & MPH, our DA around here for the most part is around 3000ft. in the summer, we have had it as high as 4000+ in the summer, i ran a best of 8.81 in the 1/8 @ 2900ft DA on a 2.00 60ft., best MPH was 81, so get to going over some things like fuel pressure & such, there is more in your car, but you did good otherwize.

well im going to get the spark plugs and wires changed..im going to go with the NGK TR6 plugs and im not sure of the wires yet..ive got a walbro 255 sitting at my house just havent installed it yet..hopefully it will do a little better next time i go down
