Yeah that is what I was going to work on and see how well it fit with the 10000 character limits of each post, I was hoping to keep some of the slower guys on there to keep them more engaged in the forums and strive to get faster, but your right. I remember when I was slow and would make the list and then get kicked off a few days later, so that also made me push harder to keep getting back on the list.

The only issue I have with breaking the list up, is for those people who have/had more then 1 combo and they want it in multiple lists (N20 guys for example, or hell even me if I get out of the bolt-on's I would want to keep the bolt-on stuff and whatever else I do), should we just limit them to their fastest run per category? or just their fastest run as we do now? These are the reasons why I think a new thread would be good, start it with 3-4 sections and post 1 could the PA, post 2 NA, and so forth, giving more room...

I will play with what I have here and see what it looks like, maybe I can get it to work...

Love the format suggestion... HATE the cut 11.99 cut off.

My buddies (Thanks to Chris B. and Jimmy at CFM Performance in Naples, FL) and I have busted my butt getting this car to where it's at and getting some recognition for all that work is great. What's more, at my track; Immokalee Regional Speedway, my car has taken 98.7% of the runs from those who've lined up against her and while she isn't cutting <11.xx... she is faster than the majority of Lt-1s... Hell, she's faster than most CARS PERIOD.

On the other hand, IF the point is to list "The Fastest LT-1 on the Board" then all we need is one... imagine how much time and space that would save...

It seems to me that the standard for 'fast' begins in the 12s... at least that is where the most obvious precedent rests... the site already has the 'clubs' kicking off at 12...

And in closing, let me just add, again, how much I appreciate the effort that it takes to keep the list up... GREAT Job! Best thread on the Web...

Default Need Help With my LT1

I was running rich headers burned my MSD cables started backfiring drove 20miles home it wont start know. I have to keep my foot on the gas when I turn the ignition release the ignition keep my foot on the gas it putters for 5-10 seconds and cuts off. Any ideas what could be wrong?

OVA1 7.86/1.69 60' @ 86.5mph All Motor: Vig 3400, Comp 466 cam, MT-ET Streets, Full exhaust.

I know that doesn't seem like much of a gain... but the 7.88 was in pristine 45 degree air; the above run was in low 70 degree air... She'll be in the low 7.7s in pristine 45 degree air... (Think COLD FRONT!) PLUS the 60 rolled into the 1.6s..

Would it be possible to note in the list, that this run is on the motor?

all updated, I will also take a snapshot of what we have here already and save it off and try the new format suggested above, since I have 2 posts to try and fit it all into I should be able to get something together without cutting it off @ 11.99, but my initial thoughts Are N/A guys in one posts (haven't decided on post 1 or 2, but 2 may be more logical since we are talking fastest and the PA guys are normaly faster then N/A) stay tuned and we'll see...

I wouldn't mind taking a 3rd post, but we would need the mods to delete a few on the front page to make my post be the 3rd, as for you it would be toucgher to get your post into the 3rd position, but thanks for the offer...

NA : I think there are a couple incorrect

Madman-9.18@154,96 Firebird, 380ci LT1 with GTP AFR 215s

-N20

TwoFast4Lv-10.05@135, A4, DOI200, LT1 3,650lbs

-N20

Mike Comp T/A-#57-10.89@128, stock LT1 bottom end/cam, LT4 heads, 3000 stall, 3800lbs

-I can not see this being NA especially @ the claimed 3800 #'s.

Madman was a blower car.

Twofast is a N20 car

The top 2 are in the PA section I did and the other is in the NA section

The other I donrt know, impressive if its true.
