there is a removal tool but if you cant find one packing the hole with grease usually works. you need something that is roughly the inner diameter of the bushing/bearing and you smack it. its like a hydraulic press

Use the hydralic method used it twice and works well. I used a grease gun to shoot the hole full then use the alinment tool and hit it a few times, then it started to push out.

You can get a slide hammer from Autozone and use one of the claws as well. You may have to reem the bushing out a bit to get the claw to fit.

I've been thru the same ordeal

This is what I did, I took a carbide burr and cut the bushing down on one side pretty far, you have to be careful not to get into the crank, but if you take your time it will work. Once I did this i just used a small 3 jaw puller and it pulled right out.

Before that I broke 2 2 jaw pullers and 1 3 jaw puller that I got from the Snap on man, he replaced the broken jaws and that's when I did the carbide burr trick

Even tried the grease trick wouldn't move it at all

guys its eaier and cleaner to use bread. take a couple slices of bread take small bits and ball them in ***** that will fit in the hole. keep stuffing it full and use a bolt or punch like with the grease. keep adding bread till it pops out, and believe me it will pop out. dont use a bur yo could easily screw up the crank.

Been there more than a few times. If you haven't already messed up the back edges to where the puller can't grip the edges your best bet is to use a slidehammer/puller. Otherwise your pretty screwed... Since its brass what I did at this point was to take a tiny tiny hacksaw and cut threw it in two places 180* apart then use a slide hammer!! It will take some work and the good news is this will be the worst part of the whole job. Also make sure you don't need to install shimms before putting that clutch in.

I tried bread, grease and even wet toilet paper as some suggest, but none of them worked as that sucker was pretty stuck in there. The only way was the slide hammer for me and it took two wacks and it was out. Did take a mallet to get the jaw puller in and hooked behind the bearing, needle bearings went everywhere, but oh well it was coming out anyway. Good luck!!!
