Default ***** keep breaking.

I keep having this problem over and over again. The threaded part of the shifter ***** keep ripping out of the **** itself. I broke the factory hurst shifter and then a black hurst one with the gold threaded piece, know I am on one that has lasted for quite some time. I was wondering where or what shifter ***** can stand up to that? Where I can get one to. B&M short stick if that would help too. I would really like a plain black or white **** that is strong and won't fail ripping second or fourth.
Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you need a Hurst or UMI pistol grip. Sounds like you rip the gears like me.

A friend of mine made one of some kind of machined steel. No joke. Maybe you need one of those.

How about a billet ball. Not a pistol handle. Thanks for the link though.

They have a bunch of billet *****, but nothing plain with no desgins. The only reason I am steering away from the pistol grip on it that I never hand one nor shifted one to see what it was like.

Try calling them... a lot of times they have more stuff then they list.

The pistol grip is different... I like it but I switch between it and Hurst leather **** for something different. I put a lot of miles on though... about a 100 a day so I get bored quick
