Default finally took it apart

Finally took apart the T56 at school... hardest was getting that 5th 6th gear off. to sum it up... i powershift (never taking foot off gas and only using clutch to switch gears) and finally took its toll. I did a quick 1-2 shift and hear boom... car would idle in 2nd and I could hear something spinning. anyway.. here are some pics

hard to tell in this pic but smoothed out the teeth in the syncro

When replacing the gear , make sure you use the 2nd gear with the longer teeth on it .

All the clutch teeth are sheared off . There is an upgraded 2nd gear as mentioned above. The longer teeth are stronger.

I was looking on your website for a few parts I need that I should replace. Do you sell a snap ring set?

Looks like my shop except there's about 20 times the amount of parts here and there . Clean up the sleeve with a small angle grinder , replace the 2nd gear and 3-4 shift fork along with the syncros and get her back together .......

I have a few other questions... hopefully u guys can help or point me out in the right direction. ok try to stay with me as i explain. I power shift my car and would sometimes miss 2nd (yeah i know, how do i miss that) but what would happen is as im WOT at a high RPM going to shift from 1st gear to 2nd, its like it locks me out and it will grind causing me to miss the gear, i guess after to much of that it took its toll? If I slammed it hard enough (using some force) it would go in. What could be the problem? My master cylinder was replaced about 2 years, and my slave was replaced when I got my textralia in last aug 08. the slave is a piece of **** discount auto parts slave... is that some of my problem? I just want to know what else to fix while i have everything apart. should i get a better slave? another master? why was it locking me out?

Knocked every one of those teeth off, nice work!

To answer your question, most likely your clutch wasn't totally disengaging at high rpm. There's lots of reasons why that could happen and just as many remedies, every car is different so you'll have to do some research for your particular setup. Seems like the most effective ($$$) answer is an aftermarket master.

Yup your shifting problem was due to your master. Check out Ticks new adjustable master it will fix all your shifting problems. Its what i'm hoping to go with as soon as I get my finances straight and car actually together.

Call Tick on that one man. I bet they say their new master will help, but man, our stock hydros are ****. Yours lasted through 2 years of powershifting? Time for news ones. I'm sure your slave is ****. You basically have to replace the slave like, every time you turn around.

Did you do the drill mod? Honestly, I don't know why I'm asking because it didn't help me. I get "locked out" of third, but can force it in just like you described. I ordered Tick's master yesterday, and I'm a poor boy.

Powershifting is the way to go, but I can't bring myself to do that to my car!

If you're getting a Tick master, then don't do the drill mod as it will come already done. The "bad things" you hear are very minor. However, I don't think it does all that much good as some people make out. Kind of like how when some people get a lid, they act like it added 25 rwhp.

I spoke with Joey at tick and he was very helpful. I will be def buying the stage II upgrade with the tick adj. master and have a rock solid transmission. I guess the only question is... should I be worried about my textralia? Do you guys think I hurt it? I know these things can take a lot.
