Default Textrailia Twin Disc Problems!!!

I have twin disc clutch in my car and have some major problems with it now. To start out the clutch has less than 2k miles with 400 or 500 miles of stop and go break in. My car is only at 600rwhp right now. I went to the drag strip and made a few passes then shut the car off. I started my car back up to leave and it wouldnt go into gear with the car running. I then shut it off, put it in gear then started the car again. It took off with the clutch pedal pushed in. I limped it home and changed BOTH the slave and master cylinders and then rebleed the system. I then started the car again and it done the same thing! I took the trans back out and took the clutch out and the disc that is nearest the pressure plate was stuck to the pressure plate. I then cleaned the flywheel, floater, and pressure plate with scotch brite and laquer thinner and put it back together and it still is doing the same thing! Anyone have any ideas? This is getting old, fast.

Tex sucks. Sounds like the disc(s) welded themselves to the floaters. I would not even play with it anymore due to a safety issue. Call Tex and get a new warranty one and either sell it or install it. JMO.

I am not familar w/ how the tex floater adjusts if at all. Is there an adjustment there?
Did the diaphram spring look OK on the pressure plate?

Check out the thread below, it shows how one member shaved the sides of the floater plate and resolved his problem.
