Re: Hurst Blllet plus shifter I love mine. I like it a little bit better than the Pro5.0. I am also using a Lou's short stick with mine, so it makes for some really short throws. The Hurst billet stick is really long, if you use the one that comes with it. I have never used a B&M, so I cant help out there.

Re: Hurst Blllet plus shifter Mine has served me well. Very stout unit and I love the angle on the shifter handle..... perfect placement of the **** for me. I like it much better than the Ripper. I have never used the Pro 5.0, but I hear good things about it. World of difference from the stock or OEM Hurst. They are all priced pretty much the same, so get what you like. I got mine off Ebay for $85, so I am happy with it.

so far, it's great.
I did a couple of good fast runs to see how it would react and I was impressed.
The shaft is longer than the stock one but the shifts are shorter.

Re: Hurst Blllet plus shifter I've had the billet plus shifter in my car for a year now, and have had no problems. The stick is a hair longer than the stock (non-Hurst) unit that came with my car. The throws are definately shorter, and the overall feel is much crisper when shifting.
I've heard great things about the Ripper, and Pro 5.0, but have not had the pleasure to put those through the gears.

Re: Hurst Blllet plus shifter Have any of you guys noticed that the ring with the shift stops hits the underside of the counsel. I had one and it would cause the counsel to bounce around a little. I replaced it with a pro50. World of difference!!
