after all the reading i have done on here i decided to go with the monster stage 3. i just got it in today but will be installing it this weekend. they have a good price.. 800 i think i paid for the flywheel, clutch kit, pilot bearing throwout bearing, and slave cylinder. they also warranty their clutches for 12 months which says a lot for their quality IMO

If you are referring to puck type cluthes, I would avoid those except maybe for a race-only car. I've had both and the puck types are not as user friendly for a street application.

I have a puck disk clutch in my car, no problems on the street. You just have to learn you can't slip that kind of clutch.

FWIW the ZOOM HP is puc/puc vs CF which is a "dual friction" type disc puc/organic.

My $.02 is move towards a puc/puc type disc if you are going to spray. A number of clutch kits to chose from. Since the PP is the "Valeo" LT4 or clone the disc construction is the main difference between LT1 "pull" type clutches.

To me the only clutch out there is the Monster. However, their LT1 stuff is not quite done. It is being run on dyno's right now before they release them to the public. Once they do, I am sure it will be just as kick *** as their LSx stuff. You can send SNLperformance a PM, he is a sponsor on this site that sells Monster.
