Default which level monster?

i'm in the market for a new clutch and originally was gonna go with spec 3+ but after hearing all the great reviews of the monster, i'm pretty much sold on that. question is, which level 2 or 3? i pmed chris but haven't heard back yet so i was looking for you guys input. gonna have h/c/i setup hoping to push 430-450 rwhp. street driven, maybe only 2-3 track days a year. stock rearend(i know the weakpoint) and street tires. i was gonna go with the stage 3 but then heard a few negative things about the puck style. whatever stage i go with i'm gonna get the billet premium package. any thoughts??? tia

Well, the guys are usually in teh shop and not hanging out on teh site, so they are slow to ge back to PM's and emails. You call, that is a different story.

I would go Level III myself with your mods. The puck design has been a topic for debate...some say no, some say yes for a street car. Me? Would not bother me.

I went Level VI, but my car is gonna see very little street duty, so....

Just so you know, i checked the site and it says they are sold out of the level 2 clutches. So that may have narrowed your options

had nothing but problems with the spec 3, burnt out quickly and the disk actually blew apart at 60 mph on the highway (during its break in period, never raced or at the track, the disk seperated and destroyed my bell housing.)

after working things out with spec i installed their stage 5 iron disk clutch. it drove better than the 3, felt great on the street and the strip. i put about 50+ passes on it, and 30K miles. then when i went with a th400, the clutch was put into a 2000 ws6. that has put about the same amount of track passes on it. and is still alive to this day in that ws6. i have no clue how many miles. but im sure its over 10,000. (this was 3 years ago it was installed in the ws6. and has been 5 years since i bought it and installed it)

theres my experience. hope it help in your decision
