who builds a good T56 these day?
well, long story short, i've been out of the game for while and Sixspeedsinc now no longer exsists...so my quandry is thus, who builds a t56 that can (reliably *crosses fingers*) support 600+hp in a daily driver/weekend autox and open track car?? i'm not going to be doing any 6k deadhooks on slicks but i dont want it to break if i do decide to shake it down at the track every season or so. i know tick and DD are big, but i want insight from people who actually know.

I put my faith in Tick-Shift [Tick Performance] I know Joey and Jonathan personaly and I believe that they make a quality product. I would give them a call.
Had one of their transmissions droped in the car yesterday. Have not driven it yet. Going on vacation tomorrow morning so it may have to wait untill after the 15th lol.
This transmission will be seeing a lot of "6k deadhooks on slicks " lol and Im sure some 7K rpm launches as well

I've got my Tick Performance Stage 2 sitting in the garage waiting to go in my TA.
I have dozens of friends with Tick transmissions and everyone loves them. I've known Jonathan for years, he's a stand up guy and really knows his stuff!

Mine doesnt need one now but I would certainly give Tick Perf. a call. I was very impressed with their newly designed Master Cyl and I had nothing but great things to say about their customer service.

G Force offers an after market gear kit but unless you are making some serious power , the OEM Tremec made gears work very well and hold quite a bit of power .
