I've had approx 6 clutches over the last 10yrs in owning my car.
My Spec Stage III is by far the best clutch I've had
It's easy and smooth to drive on the street and works great at the track! *See sig

Quick update...... finally made the 500 miles for a break in yesterday afternoon. As I have been reporting, here and elsewhere, clutch engagement has been smooth, just a bit trickier than OEM. Some chatter at times, depending on how my technique is.

Happened to pull up next to a very clean 90 GT, with Weld big & skinnies at a stop light. He would not even look over. Light turned green and he pulled away VERY slowly, no dice. So.....I just accelerated slowly past him, but then said to hell with it. At about 15 mph, I nail it and it starts blowing the tires off, hitting second was sweet....BOOYAHHH!

Put about 60 miles on her after that and NO chatter at all! Very sweet clutch Steve, thanks for everything!

Love it.

I beat my Monster Level 3 up too after the odo rolled 500 miles... and it liked it. The same thing happened to me - chatter went away and the engagement and pedal feel was smoother...

I can't wait for the next track visit and some 1.5X 60' times with this clutch....

I have a spec 3+ in my car and LOVE IT.

Ive cut multiple 1.5 60 fts at the track. 5k quick release almost a dump on 16 MH slick.
This was the first time with the setup and swaybar in place. I can see 1.4s in the future.

490rwhp. Going to spray it with a shot soon and see if she will hold 600-650rwhp/rwtq.

Pedal is light and drives awesome, no chatter. Its grabby but no chatter and smooth quiet operation.

My opinion, can't go bad with the LS7 Clutch Kit and only runs about $500.

x2. I've seen a LOT of Spec 3s burn out quick (like first 3-8k miles) because the drivers slipped them a lot for smoother driving and low 60' times on tires that wouldn't bite. Spec 3s do NOT like to be slipped. They grab hard, though.

Heard nothing but good things about Monster so far. But I voted for other, just because I got a Textralia OZ700 Z-grip and couldn't be happier. It is expensive though.

I, too, would have voted for the Textralia, but based on him comparing prices between the Spec and Monster, I figured the Tex was out of his price range. If not, though, definitely Tex.

The Textralia OZ700 is rated to 700lb-ft of torque, for both the X or Z grip. It used to say it on their website I believe, before they changed it around a bit. But all it takes is a 30 second search to find out that information

No the clutches suck, customer service sucks as well.

Jw, I am not sure of your situation but if you would like to speak with me directly about this I will be happy to assist you. It seems that you have posted in several threads with similar responses and if there is something that we have done that is "unjustified" in your eyes I would like to know about it. My number is below. Thanks,

JW, I looked into your situation a bit further. It seems that you emailed David about an LT1 car with a stage 1 that chatters. Thus far David has gotten two emails from you regarding this..on the last one he asked for your name so he could look into the situation further. You can give me your name and I will personally look into it for you. Or, you can provide the info to David as it seems he is wating for a response from you regarding this already.

Default I am looking at emails with your name JwMonE99 on them

These emails were exchanged on June 8th, 9th, and 10th. I am happy to post the emails in their entirety if you like...I think doing this will clearly show that David was attempting to help you. So, are you sure this isn't you...it would seem very unlikely that two people would have such similar screen name and emails addresses don't you think?
