Default Textralia Clutch 0Z 700 Questions.

I just got a Textralia 0Z700 Z grip series...http://www.textralia.com.au/products.cfm

It was used for about 3K. I want to get the Flywheel resurfaced as well as the pressure plate, before I install it in my 01 Z06.

Does anyone know what the thickness of the disc is stock? I have been to their website and searched yahoo etc and cant find the thickness of the disc when new.

Any help would be appreciated

I hear that. They are nice guys when you actually get a hold of them, but getting a hold of them is next to impossible. Phone, email, etc. And you get the run around. I am very dissapointed in their customer service - that's putting it nicely. And it would have been nice if the clutch package had actually lasted longer than 3k miles, one track day, and 1.90s 60' times (one 1.71 60').

Textrailia is suppose to be measuring my disk. When they finally do that for me, they should include the factory measurements as well. I will let you know when I find something out.

Hey...sorry for the delay.
All my fingers measure right about .308-.310, with a decent dial caliper. I'd trust it though.

The clutch disc really surprised me how thin it was new, but I havn't looked at many aftermarket clutches. There really only is about .024 to the rivet in the middle of the finger. So really you have about .050 totall on both sides combined to wear.

..but I've heard nothing but good reviews, so that's why I bought it.

Thanks, I was also suprised when I saw how thin it looked compared to other companies. I guess different material would make it last longer.

Thanks again, I feel much better knowing Im not that far off.

I'm an idiot, I read right over that part.

I just installed an X-Grip in my car that was used for about 2K miles. I didn't touch anything. Just installed it, it drives great.
