Look through the first 4-5 pages in the trans section. There are threads all over about monster clutches.

Stage III drives and feels like stock. If you were to jump in my car and drive it right after driving a stock clutch setup, you would be amazed at how much smoother everything is... but, thats with a Tick adjustable master. You can jam it in reverse with less wrist resistance than a new honda can.

About the only noticable difference in the driveability between a stage III monster and a stock clutch is that a stock clutch wont ****** the front end off the ground and laugh at 600rwhp in a 3500lb car. Taking off from a dead stop in 2nd gear is a little more difficult... but only because Monster clutches want to put it to the ground rather than slip.

LOL, thanks man!

No mini monsters right now, well, we do, just not for LSx applications.

I have a twin that we designed for the SRT4 crowd that weighs 15.3 lbs and will hold 800hp, it's a little badass.

well I just re assembled the rear for a 2nd time in 2 weeks. I finally got a pair of extra ls1 axles so I know how abs and traction control back. I just installed 4.10s last night and put the et streets back on for the first time since I snapped the axle. I'm heading to the track tonight and we'll see if I can get any more carnage outta this rear.

will do...I'm supposed to have a little grudge race vs a 355 Lt1. I did a street pass before and the car gets lose going into 4th now. Rev limiter is set at 6200 and with the 4.10s the gear calculator says I'm good to 115mph...and thats what I plan to trap...we'll see how it goes tonight. 1 more tow and AAA will kick me off the policy

Sounds like a 9 inch or S60 might be in your future.

Wow that's impressive, see it's not always the size that counts.

For us LSx people however ... BIG brother is coming soon.

You can find a lot of links to them on here... or google and call them. I have talked to them a few times about our project and they are seriously some of the nicest and most helpful people we have ever worked with! Refreshing considering that a LOT of places basically blow you off if they think you aren't going to drop a thousand bucks right off the bat!

Indeed it does sound like he needs a S60.

The big brother will be badass, no doubt.

Cool,

You must be putting down some serious power to the wheels.

Is there anything more that can be done to the suspension to help
alieviate wheelhop ?

car is just bolt-ons...I just like trying to get the best 60 ft possible outta the car...might cam it sooner or later. I have a descent amount of suspension, but its all non adjustable...if it was, I'm sure there is a few things I could play around with to try and make it bite harder. I think it's the new set of rims/tires that I have for the rear that are causing all of the problems..
