Default Drill mod vs Tick MC

I was wanting everyones opions on this. I dont really have the money for the tick but if the drill mode is not as good as the Tick MC than I will get it but prefer to do the drill mod. I am tired of the peddle sticking to the floor.

I never had the peddle stick to the floor, but I had all sorts of problems shifting and sometimes I couldn't shift at all. I said to hell with it Ill do the drill mod-only to find that the previous owner already had. I have had the Tick master for a while now and let me tell you its smooth as silk, there is no comparison between the drill mod and the tick master.

Many previous shifting issues and all fixed by the Tick Master. It is a little bit expensive but just know that no other adjustable master on the market compares to it and the drill mod will never work as well.

No comparison, I've had a modded stock master (drill mod and made adjustable) and the Tick Master is Light Years ahead of modded stock master. When I had my modded stocker I still couldn't shift at 6500+ rpms and would still get a sticking or low pedal sometimes. Pony up the cash for the Tick, You wont regret it!

Im in the same boat as the OP right now. I think im going to order my monster III next week. Going to do the drill mod at the same time to try and buy me some time. Then, while im putting on my break in miles, im going to see if I can come up with the cash to buy the Tick.

No comparision, since the actual amount of fluid that Tick pushes vs stock GM, Plus the Tick comes with a un restricted line that is wrapped!

Shuold be a sticky in this forum on it.

But, as everyone said, it is more of a bandaid fix then anything, and not a solution.

Sorry for the hijack AlaskaBlack... but what makes the Tick MC so much better than a stock with the drill mod? I mean I've hear good things about it but what is it that makes it better?

It flows more oil and the oil passage is the same size all the way to the master rather than having a smaller passage restricting flow. You feel a much more positive engagement

So did you all just buy the $600 rebuild kit? If so, how much money did you guys end up spending putting it together?
