Default what shifter to buy

what is a good shifter to replace my stock hurst long throw? pro 5.0 is what some people like because of a shift stop. any help would be appreciated.

hurst billet plus,also equipped with shift stops.

i really like my pro 5.0 with lou's short stick. there are several popular ones though the hurst, and b&m are some of them.

I have the B&M ripper and I like it. It kind of stinks you can't use any short sticks on it though.

I have heard a lot of raving about the MGW though, I have considered switching to it but I just don't want to drop the cash.

Before dropping all that money on another shifter, try a Hurst chrome stick on your SS base. Check E-bay or the classifieds here. It's a straight stick about 8" long. I used one I had left over from a four speed car on a SS base I picked up for $25. Works like a charm.

Ill be going with a MGW a month or so... My friend just got one and he let me try it out on his car and wow.. I loved it. Ive had the B&M ripper, I didnt like it so went back to stock Hurst for now.

hurst billet w/ Ws6 store short stick, im happy with it and don't plan to change

but I thought the T-56 has built in stops

I just threw a WS6 store short stick on my stock hurst, shifts fine, dont really see how you can get functionally better.

a black shift **** with HURST etched on the sides should come with it.
