Short Stick ?
Short Stick ? Looking for a short stick with a very short throw. I know there was a Lou's short stick people used for the LT1 cars (but I never drove one with it). Don't know if that's what I need or if that's even good for the LS1 M6. What does everyone suggest for a shorter nice throw shifter ?
I was lucky to get it with the car when I bought it...but from what I've read...the "lou's shorts sticks" (replicas) you can find at ws6store.com, afterthoughtsauto.com, etc that are close to half the price of the originals work just as well. Mine's a real LSS, so like I siad...I lucked out!!

Verdad Gallardo I stand corrected. From the pics I've seen, they seemed to be identical. My LSS does lean towards the driver a little bit now that you mention it. As far as fitment/rubbing...fits great, no rubbing on any of the plastics, no binding of the shift boot. It obviously sits in lower and tucks the leather/p-leather down a little. It looks great and works like a dream with my factory Hurst short throw!
