Tranny leaking only when driven hard
Tranny leaking only when driven hard OK, when we put my tranny back in, i filled it through the shifter with exactly 4 quarts, i can drive it everywhere and its fine, but if i run through the gears hard a few times, there will be tranny fluid on the side of the tunnel and on the sides of the under body (weird as hell) i dont see any on the DS and the seal on the back of the tranny where the DS goes in is completely dry, but it has got to be getting on the DS and flinging off when driving for the fluid to collect whrer it is......I cant figure it out, is the vent tube just venting under acceleration? as 4 quarts too much? HELP ME OUT
Could it be that my DS is too short, ive had it in for like 3 years with my 9 inch and i have had no problems with vibration or it ever tearing the input shaft up, could it be moving in and out enough under acceleration to cause it to leak and then fling everywhere??? BTW its a Dennys DS

Verdad Gallardo I think thatr it might be the cheap seal i got from Napa, it isnt leaking around the tranny but maybe it is not sealing good to the slip yoke shaft and is letting fluid get past when driven, it is one of those seals that dont have a dust cover, i do know that it has to be coming from that area and being flung from the DS spinniing for it to get all on the side of the underbody between the tunnel and the subframe connectors
