Default LS7 clutch/FW + new hydraulics + remote bleeder... clutch not fully disengaging

Hey guys,

I know the LS7 clutch engages RIGHT at the floor, but for some reason mine doesn't seem like it's fully disengaging. It's hard to get into reverse, and tough to get into gears at times. The master and slave cylinder are brand new...

I don't suppose it's possible to lose pressure somewhere? Everything was tight when I put it on. Does anyone know of any common issues in this regard?

Thanks!

Greetings,

Here's another thread about some having problems with a new LS7 clutch.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/newreply....ply&p=12487580

I have an LS7 clutch to but mine works fantastic after installing a Tick m/c.

Come on in to that thread.

crappy slave cylinder, DO NOT SKIMP ON THE SLAVE CYLINDER!!! I bought that one off of ebay and it died... went back and bought the Autozone/NAPA part for a 2001 Firebird and it works beautifully, much higher quality piece.
