Default 1LE trans mount

I've done a search on this but I'm still confused. I got a 1LE tr mount from Beans for my 99SS. I decided not to put it on when I put the trans back in because it is totally different than the stocker: different bracket, stud and height. I currently have the ES w/nubs & no plate. The model # for the "1LE" bracket is 22201140. "Mount ASM" Is this the LT1 LE? Is it correct for 99SS M6. Pix, anyone?
Thanks!

I can't speak for the M6 because I had one on my A4 and took it off. The "1LE" mount GM now sells is a universal fit that is not model specific. It's taller than than the stock A4 mount to the point it pushes the tranny up higher into the tunnel and changed my pinion angle.

It can also alter the center of gravity and weight distribution to the rear tires to a degree. My poor 60-fts confirmed this. I changed just the mount went back to the track and got my 60 ft back.

Crap...I just got this part and was waiting to put it on. Now it looks like I shouldn't use it. Everyone was so hot to trot on the 1LE mount I figured I would order one before they quite making it but the one I have it the same one as above....WTF? Should I still use it?

Thanks!

Since it's raising the tranny, then technically couldn't you put some sort of high strength/durable washer between the tranny and mount to lower the tran? I would still really like to use this mount because the poly may be to noisy for me!!!

I have a 1LE mount that I just got last Tuesday but haven't put it on yet. Saw this thread and now I'm worried about it, but I'm pretty sure I can get some sort of washer to use as a spacer. I saw the washer thing on another thread so I need to search around. I think we are all straight now!
