Well you have to disassemble the entire trans to replace the shift fork...so you might as well replace the blockers, keys, and fork pads while you're in there. If I remember correctly, the steel replacement 3-4 shift fork is around $100.

There is the Tick Performance rebuild kit. Also my Tranny did that on the 3-4 shift. eventually locked into 3rd gear. At the time I didn't know any better, and just bought a new T56 for the price of a rebuild here locally. I just had my car for maybe 2 months and was new to the lsx scene.

get a steal shift fork. they'll prob run ya around 40 bucks or so at morrismotorsports.com.. thats whats being put in mine right now. are you gunna do the labor yourself? i think personally its more worth having a professional do it. but if your up for doin it yourself then do it by all means.

i have a buddy that does tranny work .. he said hed help me out with the price and what not.. thanks for all of you guys input, it helped alot!
