when they installed their hurst billet plus? I'm getting a nasty rattle cause the shifter rubs it and havent heard this yet

 

is that what it is? i've had a rattle from my pro 5.0 for years now and I never new what it was from.

 

I've had one in for 10 years with no issue. Can you post a picture of the rub?

 

I will when I get off work. its rubbing on the passenger side of the center console, but I seem to have a decent amount of space on the driverr side

 

I deleated the center console in mine, more room to bang the gears

 

Have you figured this out yet? I've got a nasty rattle with my MGW shifter just at rpm's above 4k. I pulled the console and noticed some rub marks in the same location you described. But riding around without the console installed, the noise is still there. Have you left the console out to see if the noise goes away? I wish the console was causing my noise. Didn't have this rattle with my Pro 5.0.
