Default rebuild problems.....

So i just went through a 8 month fiasco getting warrantee to cover reverse that went out on the trans am, (00 ws6 6spd) and just got it back this weekend, and am a little irate with them, to go into reverse it takes "i am all that is man" strength to get it shoved over to where it can go up into reverse... reverse works, and will stay engaged just fine, but my mom could not get it pushed over... it goes left for 1 and 2 just fine, 3 and 4 just like butter, and 5/6 no problem but to go the extra left over to reverse takes alot of pressure, theres no pop over as if you were say overpowering a reverse lockout, just takes that much extra to get it shoved over, and it was never like that....

so my question is what did they screw up now?

Definetly check the connector but also trace the wires up to see if they are burnt on the exhaust.

under the car. drivers side of trans. Left of shifter.

Nope; you described how it works. Strength required to push through when unpowered.

I'd be worse than you are gonna be.
