Default difference in standard and "+" spec clutches

are the pressure plates the same and just a difference in disks?

Yep - "+" just means its a full faced disk whereas the others are a puck style.

We actually offer Stage 2+ (which is a hybrid that uses a pucked face on one side of the disc and segmented kevlar on the other) and the Stage 3+ which uses a full-faced carbon-semi-metallic face on both sides. In general the "+" kits offer better capacity and/or drivability than the other units. For our current LS based offerings the difference wil be relative to the disc material rather than the plate design. I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

thanks for the info!
The setup is a 02 Z06 supercharged 600-650 rwhp. The car wont see any track dumps just roll stuff.
I want a smooth clutch but that will hold and have no pressure plate(pedal) problems.
I had a spec stg 3 years ago in a f bod and loved it but had a little chatter

would u recommend stage 2+ or 3+ ?

I would say 3+ at a minimum for that much power. You could always go with a twin disc as well if you're worried about a light pedal and no chatter.

That's actually what I went with. I've got the old clutch out just waiting for the RST to be delivered.
